"They were great! they really are wonderful musicians, they were helpful and enthusiastic and very easy to work with. They somehow managed to get 200 Yorkshire folk engaged in Scottish dancing most of them for the first time. Thank you very much for all of your help and professionalism in pulling it all together. I look forward to working with you again in the future."

"Scottish Tetrathlon set Ceilidh Fire a stern task, keep 150 tetrathletes from Scotland, England, Wales, Ireland, Northern Ireland and the Isle of Man, and 150+ of their parents with limited ceilidh experience happy. Wow, what a night it was. Thank you very much for a night that they will remember forever. Well done you guys."

"Ceilidh Fire played two fantastic sets for us over the last three weeks - one for each of our daughters' weddings - both in County Durham, one in a Darlington hotel and one in the Bowes Museum! They got the whole Wedding Party up and moving both times - most of whom had never heard of Scottish Country Dancing let alone done any. We would recommend them to anyone wanting a ceilidh. Great nights both!"

"Ceilidh Fire are without doubt the best Ceilidh band we have ever danced with. They get more energy into the music and the dancing than any other band we've known, it was fantastic. We booked them for our wedding, almost all of our guests were up dancing straight away. Everyone was laughing and having so much fun it was just what we wanted. The band themselves are so easy to deal with, so friendly and open to help you with your requests. Could not recommend more. 100% excellent."
