More information about Paragon Ceilidh Band

We also offer ceilidh music to really get your party swinging! One of our most popular requests, particularly for weddings, is to perform a couple of ceilidh sets as well as a couple of party sets.

We've played for the Royal Family, BP, BT, Credit Suisse, Ernst and Young, Hanson, Lloyds TSB, as well as numerous other clients. Venues include Claridge's, The Ritz, The Dorchester Hotel, The Gherkin, Gleneagles and St James’s Palace (for a Royal birthday party).

All of our singers and musicians are highly trained professionals with a wealth of experience. We’ve worked with artists including Daniel Bedingfield, Alexandra Burke, Joss Stone, Ms Dynamite, Beverly Knight, John Entwistle, Avril Lavigne, Mavis Staples, Paul Jones, Elizabeth McGovern and Katie Melua, have recorded on numerous albums and played in West End shows and for radio, TV and film.

The size of the line-up is adaptable to your needs: between 4 players (guitar, bass, drums and female vocalist) and 6 players (additional keyboards and/or second vocalist) for most occasions, with the option of a 3-piece brass section. If a smaller line-up is required we can play all your favourite dinner jazz and easy listening songs as a duo or trio.

Although we are based in London, we are available to travel throughout the UK and particularly in the South East of England, including to Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Kent, Surrey, and Sussex.

Here are just some of the locations where we have been booked by client on FixTheMusic for weddings and events...

"Adam and I wanted to thank you for such a stunning performance at our wedding at the Corinthia Hotel back in September. Your energy, skill and enthusiasm was absolutely perfect and really got the party going straight from the off. It was great to have the combination of ceilidh and covers and we had so many compliments from our guests. Everyone could tell that you were all really enjoying it and that just seemed to transfer to all of our guests. Thank you again."

"Paragon Ceilidh Band played at my 50th birthday party in Manningtree, Essex on 9th November. They were absolutely BRILLIANT - the music was superb, we all loved the dancing and Danica was fabulous at getting us all involved and steering us in the right direction (which believe me, can’t have been easy). I can’t recommend them highly enough. Thank you Paragon Ceilidh Band for an absolutely wonderful evening - the icing on the (birthday) cake."

"As our wedding was the second time round for both of us we wanted something less loud (and boring) than the traditional disco. We decided to try a ceilidh in the hopes that it would appeal to a wider age range. We choose 'Paragon' from the many bands offered by 'Fix the Music'. They seemed professional, flexible and good value for money. They were all of that and more. What a fantastic group! They were vibrant and got everyone on their feet from five year olds to seventy five year olds. They varied the time slots and gave more than expected. They were versatile and provided other genres of music as required allowing oldies to smooch or jive and youngies to bop. The caller/ singer was excellent. She had a stunning voice as a singer but as a caller she was encouraging, clear and easy to follow and got everyone on their feet. She helped generate so much energy. Everyone thought it was one of the best evenings ever. Paragon Ceilidh Band is a band that we highly, highly recommend."

"Thanks to Paragon Ceilidh Band for playing at my wife’s surprise 70th birthday and our 50th wedding anniversary celebrations They were absolutely infectious and got all guests involved into the party spirit. All of our guests have said what a brilliant time they had and I cannot praise them enough for there efforts and professionalism even to helping my grandson install his guitar and helping him to do a short set during the interval. I also feel that there own involvement was as enjoyable as ours and I can only wish them every success in the future. Regards, Barry Jarvis."

"Simon and all the band, We just wanted say a huge thank you to you and all the band for the wedding on Saturday. Between you all – afternoon and of course the evening – you created just the atmosphere we were hoping for. There were so many compliments about you guys and the blend of styles pulled off so effortlessly. I know as seasoned pros this probably comes as second nature to you but it really showed how well and tightly you all worked together and the real enjoyment you put into the music. You really helped to create a very special day for everyone and of course Nats and Ross. Thanks so much."

"I just wanted to say a huge thank you to the band and you for making our wedding day so wonderful. The dance floor was packed all night and everyone has nothing but praise for you, we have already had a few people ask for your details to recommend you on to friends. The guys were so friendly on the night and Danica really got everyone going on the dance floor. We were also really impressed with the help we had from you leading up to the wedding. Emails were always responded to promptly and you were really accommodating in our requests, including agreeing to play All I Want for Christmas after Christmas day! We have a few photos of the band from our photographer and will send them though if you are interested. So thanks again for helping make our day so special and so much fun. You were absolutely fabulous and I would have no issues recommending you to anyone."
