When you enquire, bands based in Spain typically need to know:
Sound restrictions — many fincas and villas have sound limiters or curfews. Forever Fiesta ask every couple whether the venue has a sound limiter or works with an exclusive sound company before they can quote.
Outdoor cover — bands performing at garden or terrace venues need shelter for instruments, even in summer. Strong sun and sudden rain both pose risks to equipment worth thousands of euros.
Travel and accommodation — bands traveling between regions (e.g. Barcelona to Marbella) factor flights, fuel and overnight stays into their quotes. Vibe Motion list "transportation, accommodation and per diems" as separate line items on top of their base fee. Bands based in the same region as your venue will be cheaper.
Power supply — outdoor and rural venues may not have sufficient power for a full band's PA and lighting. Some venues require a generator.
All of our Spanish bands regularly upload new promotional material and live event videos so you can get a clear idea of how they will look and sound.

“We couldn't recommend Gonzalo enough! From planning to the big day, he was so helpful and professional is absolutely unbelievable at what he does! Thank you so much Gonzalo, you made our wedding and an event people will always remember and talk about.”
“We had Bonita Duo play at our wedding and they were amazing!!! Really easy to talk to and communicate with and all our guests loved them. Would highly recommend!!”
“I don’t have the words to describe quite how special this band are however will do my best! They ticked every single box. Not only are they super talented and played the most unbelievable setlist, they brought so much passion and energy to our wedding day and made our night unforgettable for every single one of our guests. Mauro and Matt are an absolute dream to communicate with - we had several calls with them before the big day and I’m confident that these guys were just as excited about the wedding as we were! They played our first dance and father/daughter dance songs to perfection, even when the first dance one wasn’t one they were familiar with. I’ve no doubt I’ll be keeping in touch with the band in future and would make every effort to go to one of their gigs when I’m next in Mallorca. We love live music so much and the music at the wedding was always going to be a priority for us so choosing the right band was very important to us. We really can’t thank you enough for making our wedding day the most memorable occasion for everyone and I really hope we see you again soon. 4 very special and talented guys - you are exceptional and we adore you all xxx”
“Our DJs made the party an absolute success. Their prep was meticulous, and they nailed the vibe we were going for from start to finish — reading the room perfectly all night. What stood out most was how far they went beyond the job: at one point Chris grabbed a ladder mid-event to adjust the lighting himself, just to get the atmosphere exactly right. That level of care and initiative is rare. Excellent organization, incredible energy, and a genuinely great atmosphere all night. Would recommend without hesitation.”
“We loved the Elements Jazz Band and they were such a special part of our wedding. They are excellent musicians and had our entire wedding party dancing for hours. During breaks they mingled with our guests and were all a pleasure to get to know. Seriously great musicians and great people. Highly recommend.”
“DJ Alex was an incredible wedding DJ for us in Nerja! We had an indoor & outdoor venue and Alex made sure the set-up was perfect in both areas. And the music was amazing!!! He seemlessly blended songs we requested with other bangers to keep the dance floor bumping all night long. They had to shut the party down an hour late cause everyone was having such a great time! A true professional DJ, don't waste your money with amateurs when you can hire a true pro!! Vamanos!!!”
“We hired Midnight Rock to play in an Irish bar in Barcelona for our wedding celebration. They were amazing, they had a great repertoire of songs and are top class musicians. Also, very professional to deal with, can’t recommend enough.”
“We booked The Drop Tops via FixTheMusic. Where do I start? Fantastic singers, with great presence and soul, The Drop Tops were tight, with plenty of groove and played some real showstopper tracks and they are all really nice people too! We didn’t leave the dance floor all night! They threw in a set of garage classics which lit up the place! Book these guys, you will not be disappointed at all! Thank you again. Gabriella & Gareth!”
“Catalonia DJs were great from the first conversation through to the last song of the night! A great mix of playing what we know and love and keeping the party going! Would highly recommend.”
“An excellent jazz band that really made our wedding reception very special. Raimundo and his musicians are extremely pleasant to be around and very accommodating. I would highly recommend them to anyone in search of music to really lift an event. Thank you ever so much!”
“¡Hicieron la fiesta mil veces mejor! ¡Gracias por ser tan profesionales! Los invitados eran muy diversos (no solo latinos) y todos se sintieron integrados y animados. ¡Si pudiera los contrataría para todas las fiestas! Gracias por ser parte de nuestro matrimonio.”
“The Foxes were just fabulous..they sounded incredible and arrived promptly. They created the perfect ambience and everyone was blown away by them! The dance floor was packed all night so I highly recommend them and hope to book them again one day!”
Based on 620 confirmed bookings in Spain over the last three years, here's what couples have paid.
Spain-based bands (277 bookings): from €1,600 for a duo, with most couples paying between €1,750 and €3,800.
UK-based bands travelling to Spain (44 bookings): from £2,500, typically booked for larger villa weddings with 100+ guests.
By region:
| Region | From |
|---|---|
| Barcelona & Catalonia | from €1,600 |
| Costa del Sol | from €2,500 |
| Madrid | from €2,300 |
| Seville | from €3,000 |
Barcelona and Catalonia account for the highest volume of band bookings, with the largest concentration of Spain-based bands. The Costa del Sol and Seville command higher starting prices, reflecting longer travel distances and a higher proportion of UK-based bands.
Premium showbands for large villa weddings can reach €8,000–€10,000+, but these are the exception rather than the norm.
If you need music for just the ceremony or drinks reception, solo guitarists and saxophonists are available from around €400, and wedding DJs from €750.
Based on confirmed bookings through FixTheMusic, couples planning Spain weddings book their band around 8 months ahead (median 250 days). For peak-season dates in June and September (particularly Saturday weddings in Barcelona, Sitges and the Costa del Sol) we recommend booking 12 months ahead to secure your first-choice band.
Spain-based bands typically charge €1,000–€5,000 (median €2,700). UK-based bands that travel to Spain (e.g. Mashup Kings) charge more (median £5,200) as they factor in flights and travel. Solo guitarists and saxophonists for ceremony or drinks sets start from around €400–€850. See the pricing section above for a regional breakdown.
June and September are the busiest months for Spain weddings on FixTheMusic, with 786 and 828 enquiries respectively over the last three years. July sees a dip, likely due to the extreme heat. April is a popular shoulder month (182 enquiries), coinciding with warmer spring weather. Peak season (May–September) accounts for around 78% of all Spain wedding enquiries.
Spanish wedding days also tend to run longer than UK weddings. Ceremonies typically start between 2pm and 5pm (later in the day to avoid the afternoon heat) followed by aperitivo or cocktail hour, then dinner, with the evening reception often not starting until 10pm.
Bands typically play from 10pm to midnight or later, and some parties continue until 3am or 4am. DJ Nerja offers full-day coverage from ceremony at 2pm through to the DJ set finishing at 3am, while The Popcats quote for a 10pm to midnight set as standard. When budgeting, keep in mind that a full-day package covering ceremony, aperitivo, dinner and evening reception will cost more than an evening-only booking.
Most Spain-based bands quote with VAT included. For example, Vibe Motion list their 4-piece at €4,000 "VAT included" and Serenata quote €1,300 "that includes VAT, sound equipment and travel." When you receive quotes through FixTheMusic, check whether VAT is included so you're comparing like for like.
Yes. Around 1 in 10 enquiries on FixTheMusic specifically request Spanish, Latin or flamenco music. Many Spain-based bands perform in both languages — The Elliotts sing "mainly in English, and also have a few Spanish songs," while Serenata offers "international pop, soul classics and flamenco-pop in Spanish with rumbas." If you want a dedicated flamenco performance, The Flamenco Dancers offer a 60-minute Spanish guitar set followed by a 30-minute flamenco dance show for around €1,350 including sound equipment. If you have international guests, mention this when you enquire and we'll match you with bands who can cater to both.
Yes, all bands bring their own PA system, mixing desk and basic lighting. Some villas and fincas have sound restrictions or work with an exclusive sound company. Forever Fiesta ask every couple whether the venue has a sound limiter or works with a specific supplier before quoting. A 4-piece band typically needs around 5m × 4m of performance space and 1–2 parking spaces close to the venue for loading.
The standard format is two sets of 45 or 60 minutes for the evening reception, usually between 9pm and midnight. Many Spain weddings follow a multi-part format — ceremony music, then aperitivo or cocktail hour, then dinner, then the evening party. Nearly 500 enquiries on FixTheMusic mention ceremony music and over 500 mention aperitivo or cocktail-hour sets. Some bands offer packages covering multiple parts of the day — DJ Nerja covers everything from ceremony at 2pm through to the DJ set at 3am, and Saffron & Spice offer an in-house DJ to continue after the band finishes. Additional DJ sets after the band typically cost around €750 extra.
Yes, but bands need shelter for their instruments. Strong sun and sudden rain both pose risks to equipment worth thousands of euros. If your venue has an outdoor terrace or garden ceremony area, mention this when you enquire so bands can plan their setup. Some rural venues may also need a generator if the power supply isn't sufficient for a full band's PA and lighting.
Yes. Barcelona-based bands regularly perform in Sitges, the Costa Brava and as far as Tarragona. Marbella-based bands cover the whole Costa del Sol and inland Andalusia. For longer journeys (e.g. Barcelona to Marbella), travel costs may apply. Vibe Motion list "transportation, accommodation and per diems" as separate line items on top of their base fee.
