About Glimmer – professional wedding & party band based in Bristol, UK
Hailing from Bristol, Glimmer are a highly popular and energetic 5 piece party band, whose repertoire spans multiple decades and genres.
Fronted by their female lead singer, she has the soaring notes of Whitney and Aretha, the lyrical acrobatics of Lizzo, Sean Paul, Nelly and Destiny’s Child and the power of Tina Turner, Cher and Freddie Mercury.
Our singer was a finalist of The Voice UK on team Will.I.Am and went on to duet with the star himself.
Stunning vocals are interlaced with a powerful rhythm section, textural keys and melodic guitar work to provide an unmissable, funky sound that resonates through the ages, elevating your event to unparalleled heights.
Performing live since 2016, Glimmer have played in venues such as Ashton Gate, Middle Temple, The Eden Project, Kew Gardens, The Queens Hotel, Hotel Post in Switzerland, Zandvoort Beach in the Netherlands and many more venues throughout the UK and other countries.
Companies that Glimmer have played for include Tenet, Wessex Water, Land Rover and Heist.
Alongside Glimmer's usual brand of energetic modern pop, dance and Rnb, they also provide a rock/pop punk repertoire of material with guitarist and keyboardist providing lead vocals alongside their female singer to give you an authentic experience of the genre, blended with smooth and magical 3 part harmonies throughout.
You will often see this on the French and Swiss ski slopes, entertaining the partygoers in places such as Cocorico, Hotel Post and Smithy’s.
Glimmer also offers a dynamic acoustic trio with lead vocals, acoustic guitar + backing vocals and cajon/percussion.
The versatile setlist spans the decades, blending chilled background vibes with lively tunes that get crowds dancing and singing along.
