Set up / Performance

For acoustic bookings (without PA or speakers) we normally arrive 45 minutes in advance of the start time to set up. For bookings requiring the PA or sound checks, we arrive at least one hour prior to the start of the performance. We don't charge for set up time.

A typical background music set length is 45 minutes but we can be flexible to fit in with your event timings. Show sets are typically 15-20 minutes. We can play a number of sets depending on your requirements.

I'm regularly booked to perform for weddings and events at Carousel on Charlotte Street, St Ethelburga's Centre for Reconciliation & Peace in Bishopsgate and BOKAN 37 in London.

In 2019, she performed live as part of the band for Bijan Mortazavi on Manoto TV for Nowruz.

She’s recorded numerous times at Abbey Road Studios and Metropolis Studios. In Summer 2019, she performed in the orchestra for Rick Wakeman’s sold-out, double performance of Journey To The Center of The Earth at Royal Festival Hall.

She also performed as part of the Guinness Cork Jazz Festival at the Cork Opera House later that year (2019). Party Violinist joined the band for Rebecca Ferguson’s 2020 UK tour as solo violinist.

Weeks later she performed with So Solid Crew for their 21 Years Reunion Show at the O2 Forum Kentish Town.

In 2020 and 2021, Party Violinist focused mainly on remote recording work. She recorded several pieces for Jordan Rees (EMI) to be used in television and video games.

She also performed in music videos for Big Zuu and Duran Duran and performed live for the 2021 Manoto TV special for Nowruz featuring Sahar Moghaddas, Sogand Soheili, Mehran Atash and Alireza Saremi. Duran Duran’s cover of ‘Five Years’ by David Bowie was released on the global livestream Mike Garson’s ‘Just For One Day’ tribute to David Bowie and featured Party Violinist's own string group.

In 2021, Party Violinist & DJ joined The Urban Soul Orchestra and performed in their Classic Ibiza Summer Tour as well as their performance with London Community Gospel Choir at The Royal Albert Hall in December 2021.

She also toured with D26 as a solo violinist operating as the house band for Pawandeep Rajan, Arunita Kajilal, Mohd Danish and Sayli Kamble in their first UK Arena Tour in late 2021. Alleya recorded with The Script for a violin feature on their acoustic release of ‘Paint The Town Green’ for St. Patrick’s Day 2022.

Party Violinist continued to tour in 2022 with several modern orchestras specialising in dance genres including house classics, EDM and drum and bass. She joined the Drum & Bass Orchestra on their Summer tour as well returning to play with Urban Soul for their 2022 Classic Ibiza tour.
