More information about The Cornwall Wedding Harpist

Music is my passion. I have been playing the harp and the trumpet for over sixteen years, during which time I have amassed a wealth of experience and gained an extensive repertoire of solo, chamber and orchestral works.

Most recently I have studied the harp with the internationally renowned harpists Gabriella Dall'Olio, Head of Harp at Trinity College of Music and Catherine White, Principal Harp Tutor of the Birmingham Conservatoire. In 2009 I graduated from Cambridge University with a Masters degree.

Every bride deserves to have a wonderful wedding full of magic and romance. The music of one of the most beautiful instruments on earth can bring added splendour to this special day.

The harp conjures up images of angels and mermaids, myths and fairy tales. Bring to your wedding something from another world.

Whether you are planning a civil ceremony or a church wedding, the harp makes the perfect accompaniment.

Being classically trained I can offer a wide variety of music and will work with you to help you decide exactly what you would like.

As a harpist I am able to provide a suitable ambience for any event. Whether you are planning a flamboyant party, a prestigious reception or a sombre occasion the music of a harp can compliment the atmosphere.

I have experience playing at corporate and private functions, charity events and funerals. No matter what the nature of the event you can be assured that I will provide a smooth, professional performance to match your requirements.

Can I play outdoors?

Yes. The harp can be played inside or out of doors, as long as some shelter from direct sunshine or rain is provided. I have a choice of harps, which helps to ensure the best sound for your venue.

Can the client choose the music for their event?

I will always talk with the client about the requirements they have for their individual booking. Whilst this site does include a set list (below) containing many of my popular requests, it is not an exhaustive list. If your favourite piece is not included here, it may still be in my repertoire, and if not I am often able to learn new music on request. To find out more please feel free to contact me and discuss your options further.

How much does a booking cost?

Naturally the price will vary depending on the kind of engagement, playing time, location and music choices. Bookings start from around £200, but you really need to send me an enquiry for a detailed quote.

"The Cornwall Wedding Harpist played at Huntsham Court for my son’s wedding reception drinks outside. She brought her beautiful golden Erard harp and created a wonderful atmosphere. The music she played was appropriate and she performed Scottish music including my own arrangements which she’d learnt specially! Thank you!"
