Swing State are a jazz & swing band based in West Yorkshire, who are in great demand to perform at weddings, festivals, restaurants, corporate events and private parties throughout northern England.
Swing State are a dynamic jazz collective of experienced conservatoire-trained musicians performing traditional jazz favourites.
We're regularly booked to perform for weddings and events at Newby Hall & Gardens in Ripon.

They can provide a trio, quartet, quintet or their full six-piece outfit to add a touch of class to any occasion whether it be for background listening or for your guests to show off their moves on the dance floor.

Swing State, an international group of talented musicians, have performed live on BBC Radio 3, at renowned jazz venues across the UK such as Ronnie Scott's, SevenArts Leeds and Pizza Express Jazz Club, as well as at numerous private events and weddings, including at high-profile venues such as The Royal Automobile Club.
They are able to offer one free song request if it's not already in their repertoire list, depending on suitability. Most of their clients book them for a performance duration of 2 x 45-minute sets.
It takes them approximately 60 - 90 minutes to set up before their performance.
They can provide suitable pre-recorded music during their intervals, or you can bring your own playlist on an iPod or similar and use their PA system. They provide their own lighting.
