"The Sabres were absolutely terrific at our wedding, on all fronts. Damien, Stéphan and Hervé are the real deal. We had them to do both the band and DJ parts, and we are incredibly glad we chose them. The quality of their playing in person is super, super high. Many of our guests commented "Where did we find these guys?!" and with good reason - their musicianship was top class. We absolutely lost it when they did Uprising by Muse. They really know how to work a crowd. They struck a great balance between playing songs that we had asked for, and those that were in their repertoire. I can imagine that if you left it up to them, they'd do a fine job in constructing a set list that really flows. When they were taking a break, they set the DJ equipment to play songs we had requested, so there was no break on the dancefloor - which has happened at other weddings we have been to. They kept the energy alive throughout! They were really easy to work with. We were running late by 45 minutes, but they did not mind at all. It was low-fuss, low-stress working with them. Their equipment is top notch. We were having trouble with our speech audio, but Damien came to the rescue with the band's equipment - and it was like night and day. Really recommend using their microphone to do the speeches at dinner. In sum - choosing The Sabres is an utter no-brainer - it will elevate the wedding for all of your guests and turn it into an absolutely banging party."

"We booked the Sabres for our dream destination wedding in the Dordogne at the fabulous Domaine d'Essendiéras on May 25th 2024 and couldn’t be more thrilled with how everything turned out. From the start the band were incredibly accommodating to all our requests - from adding on guitarist services for our ceremony and cocktail hour, to playing our chosen setlist and even learning 3 additional songs to play live including our first dance, which set the tone for the entire evening. "We hosted 90 of our friends and family from England for our special day in France and we cannot recommend highly enough The Sabres for your wedding band. They have a fantastic repertoire of songs and they can get a crowd in the mood to party. Switching from rock and indie hits like The Arctic Monkeys to mainstream pop from the likes of Bruno Mars is no trouble for the band. They can play anything and sound great doing it. They kept the dance floor full at all times and were a pleasure to have involved with on our day. We even booked them for a 90-minute acoustic cocktail set after the ceremony and people were dancing in the sun before the dinner had even started. Thank you for an amazing evening!"

"Dear Damien and The Sabres…I know I said it on the night (but I was a little intoxicated at that point) so I just wanted to send you a little note to say a HUGE HUGE thank you for all of your efforts on our wedding day. SO many people have come up to say how utterly fantastic they thought you were. I know we seemed like a ‘peculiar’ bunch of people, wanting old school garage – often on repeat (cringe), for most of the night (and in hindsight I don’t think the oldies knew what to make of most of us either! ha) but I can honestly say that everyone had the most fantastic time and that is down to the effort that everyone, including yourselves, put in. You were so efficient in getting back to me Damien, you put my mind at rest COMPLETELY in the lead up to the wedding, and I can’t tell you how grateful I was for that. The party was a really important part of the day for us – hoping that everyone would have a good time, and when so much is being organised and going on it was so settling to know that you had everything under control and was SO SO very accommodating. I appreciate that not everyone would accept a playlist of a million and one songs to download for the day!! You were incredible. I’d book you again no matter where in the world we were partying! "Hi Damien, Nicolas, We hope you are well, and have been enjoying the rest of your summer. I’m sure you’ve been very busy performing at many weddings this summer! Mitch and I have been reminiscing about our wedding day ever since July 1 and wanted to extend our complete gratitude and thanks, once again, for everything you did to make the day so special. From the beginning Mitch and I were really excited to have The Sabres play at our wedding, but we had no idea just how much of an impact it would make. Not only did we love you, but all of our guests were blown away by your talent. You really lightened up the dance floor all night long! We had so many guests complimenting your performance. Personally, I will never forget the moment where you played Brown Eyed Girl for the father-daughter dance. It was so much fun, and so perfectly captured my relationship with my dad. This will forever be a cherished memory for me. Another one of our favourite memories was at the end of the night, when all our guests were chanting “one more song!” for the band to continue to play. Nobody wanted it to be over! It truly was the best day of our lives and we are so honoured to have The Sabres as a wonderful memory to look back on. Thank you for helping us create our perfect day. "We absolutely LOVED The Sabres! Firstly their manager has been such a pleasure to work with leading up to the event and has been quick in replying and super helpful with any questions we had. The band was super professional as well and even helped set up the video projector and mic for the speeches during dinner. They put on an amazing show and really knew how to get the dance floor started and keep it going all night! Also they were sweet to take any song requests that I had provided them prior to the big day. They really made the party unforgettable and we get so happy when we think about it! Thanks guys!
