We knew it would be a party but Jesus we couldn't have planned what we got 😅 So grateful for them giving our guests the best time ever, they all said they had never been at a wedding like it! "Cannot recommend these guys enough. One of the most energetic and talented bands I've had the pleasure of seeing live. They brought loads of energy, great song choices (both that they played and during the DJ session between sets) and also performed a beautiful rendition of our first dance song, which was extremely special. Communication up to the wedding day was excellent, they also liaised directly with our venue for the finer points of detail to save us being the middle man! On the day, they turned up on time, set up without fuss (included a bonus song for sound check which got everyone excited). Crowd interaction during their set was excellent. All in all, these guys are great. You should hire them for your event. We are contemplating getting married again just so we can have another party with them!"

"The Upshots' reputation proceeds them, but we weren’t quite prepared for the intensity and energy that they brought to our wedding. From the first contact through to the set list discussions and the night itself, they went above and beyond. Matt in particular listened to us, was available 24/7, and became a mate as much as anything. There are bands who will just go through the motions and offer you the set list of your choice with good singers and great musicians. But The Upshots know that people make a party, and they get the people going. From the second the doors opened to the last song of the evening, the band were relentless and the dance floor was rammed - so much so, that people literally missed their main courses because they refused to sit down.
This band are a cut above anything else on offer. The effort they put into our wedding and their delivery on the night will stay with us forever. Even from the first reveal of the room we did just the two of us, the musicians and singers were exceptional. Our guests will not stop raving about them - everyone left blown away by their performance."

They provided music at the ceremony, cocktail reception, dinner, dancing and afterparty with DJ. The 9-piece band was amazing - perfect selection of songs from soul, Motown, pop, rock, classics and many current songs which was amazing. The arrangements were straightforward, timings agreed that worked with buffet etc. Band set up, then cleared up without any fuss or bother.
