More information about The Nauticals

We love playing anything that makes sure the dancefloor is kept busy all night. Whether it’s Elvis or Ed Sheeran, we’ve got it covered.

Our standard service includes 2 x 60 minutes (or 3 x 40 minutes) of live music up until midnight (which can be extended).

We also include free DJ music in between and after our sets so there’s no need to hire a DJ.

We are fully equipped with our own top spec PA & lighting rig - all we need is a couple of plug sockets and we’re good to go!

What sets us apart from most other 4 piece bands is our ability to adapt our instrumental lineup without adding additional band members.

Our female singer also plays saxophone which means she can steal the show by ripping into some of the most famous sax solos of all time without the need of backing tracks.

We also offer an additional saxophone club set after our band performances to keep the party going for you and your guests.

Our drummer is also a fantastic keys player and our guitarist also plays drums which means we can swap around if you have a special request or a live first dance that requires anything more than the standard guitar, drums and bass 4 piece lineup.

We’ve been fortunate enough to have travelled all over the UK, Europe and the Middle East performing at corporate events, weddings and five star hotels as well as many prestigious venues including the The Queen Elizabeth Olympic Stadium, The Royal Albert Hall, NEC Birmingham, Leeds Castle, O2 Academies, VEGA Copenhagen, Kensington Roof Gardens.

We’ve also worked with some well known celebrities such as Jahméne Douglas, Conor Maynard, Chas ‘n’ Dave, Chris Kamara and more.

We perform at around 150 events every year and playing in the band is our full time job which we’re very happy about!

It also means that we take it seriously and we always do our very best to make sure every client is 100% satisfied. We have plenty of reviews and testimonials to back this up.

We’re based in London but are used to travelling all over the UK for weddings up and down the country. One night we’ll be in Liverpool and then off to Dorset for the next one!

One of London's finest wedding bands

With Male & Female Lead Vocalists and a repertoire that spans four generations, The Nauticals are the #1 choice for couples looking to pack the dance floor on their wedding night...

Having formed in 2010, the band changed in 2014 to it's strongest ever lineup! Now with a calibre of musician and entertainers far superior to 99% of other bands, the band travel the UK, Dubai & Europe full time performing at Weddings, Awards Ceremonies and other Corporate Events.

The band have one goal and one goal only! TO PACK THE DANCEFLOOR!

Invariably, the set list is chosen on the fly by the band so that they can maximise the number of your guests that take to the floor and get involved with the party.

With a repertoire that's got something for everyone, you can be sure that even Grandma will find there's something for her to jive to!

In addition to the phenomenal evening entertainment that the band offer, there's also the option of having them join you on the afternoon of your big day to perform one of a variety of different options they offer ranging from an acoustic set to solo saxophone set.

FAQs

How much do you charge?

Our fee varies depending on the day of the week, time of year and location of your event. Our standard package starts at £1,400.

How far do you travel?

We travel both UK wide and internationally.

Do you play any public gigs?

Due to the nature of our work, we don't play many public gigs as all of the events we perform at tend to be private functions. We try to offset this situation by making sure we have plenty of promotional material which accurately represents our performance in a live scenario.

Are you insured?

Yes we have Public Liability Insurance cover up to £10M and all of our equipment is professionally PAT tested yearly. We can send our certificates to you or your venue upon booking.

Do you have lights?

Yes we have LED lighting which covers us and the dance floor for the ultimate light show during your event.

What happens if a band member is ill on the day of our event?

In the unlikely event that a band member is ill on the day of your event, we have some of the best replacement musicians on standby to fill in.

How long do you play for?

Our standard evening package includes 2 x 60 minutes of live music and DJ music before, in-between and after our live sets. As well as our evening band sets, we also offer some acoustic options, perfect for your ceremony, drinks reception or during your meal.

Do you have any specific requirements?

All we ask is that you're able to provide us with soft drinks and food for the duration of our time at the venue. Usually we're included in the evening food/buffet.

How and when do I pay?

We require a £200 deposit to be paid via Online Banking to secure the booking and the remaining balance is due no later than 30 days before the event.

How long does it take you to set up?

It takes us approximately 1 hour to load in, set up, soundcheck and get changed ready to start the first song.

Are noise limiters an issue?

We have a lot of experience performing at venues with sound limiters. Usually our drummer can use 'hot rod' sticks which is enough to bring our overall volume down. Unlike most bands, we also have an electric drum kit which we can also bring which allows us to have complete control over the entire band volume.

Do you play requests?

When it comes to first dance songs, we are more than happy to consider learning it for you. It largely depends on whether the particular song fits our instrumental line up. For example, it would be difficult for us to pull off a Frank Sinatra song with a big orchestra. Upon booking, please let us know if there's a particular song you'd like us to consider learning so we have enough time to learn it well.
