New Orleans Jazz Swingers is a group of professional musicians scouted and handpicked by the leader of the group, Graham.
Having toured the UK and abroad playing at clubs and festivals with many great bands, Graham decided to use his experience to put together a band of his own.
From the outset the philosophy was that good music should be combined with good entertainment: the musicians in the band should enjoy working together to make the many old tunes we play sound fresh and new.
The band’s repertoire is drawn largely from the small group jazz of the 20’s and 30’s with a few other interesting numbers from other eras thrown in to spice things up.
They may provide the background for a classy reception, parties large and small, roaming around events, performing concerts... and they have been building a reputation as a band that is not only a lot of fun to listen to but also great to dance to.
