About Misty – professional Jazz & Swing band based in London, UK
Misty is a London-based jazz trio that performs dynamic renditions of classic classics popular among jazz fans worldwide.
Nadine is the vocalist, Charlie is the guitarist, and Jack plays trumpet.
It plays in a range of styles that can be tailored to the tastes of the clientele.
We believe that our combination, with the addition of guitar effects, produces a distinct and deep sound that blends twentieth-century jazz, soul, and pop classics with our own approach.
In addition to playing as a trio, Jack and Charlie frequently perform as a duo.
The combination of trumpet and guitar can offer ambient music in smaller or more intimate settings.
If you want something a little bigger, adding bass allows the Misty foursome to create a much livelier mood and perform a wider range of songs.
Our trio has performed at the Royal Academy of Arts, the Natural History Museum, Bentley HQ, Tate Modern, and the Shard, in addition to frequent appearances at the Ned hotel in Bank and the Balthazar restaurant in Covent Garden.
We may perform at a variety of events, including weddings, parties, and evenings in bars, restaurants, or jazz clubs.
"I cannot recommend Misty enough. They played the ceremony music at our wedding, and did the most stunning renditions of our requested songs. They then played beautiful soulful jazz for our cocktail reception afterwards - it was just perfect. They were super professional and we felt at complete ease just letting them do their thing - there was little instruction or guidance needed. When you’re putting on a wedding or event, having incredible musicians who you can trust is essential and Mistyare just that."
"Misty played for our ‘Christmas with Bentley’ event in December. They went down a treat with the guest, one man (who in fact, used to be an professional opera singer), joined in with them. The 3-piece band have their own fantastic, unique style in music. They were great to work with and exceeded the brief we gave them. We would definitely use them again for future events."
"Misty were absolutely fantastic. The music went down really well, it created a great ambiance and received great feedback. They were also highly professional and responsive and a pleasure to work with."
