About Cockney Barrer
Cockney Barrer is a live cockney music act.
He is most frequently booked as a solo act for private parties and general functions but is also available as a duo, trio or four-piece.
The solo act uses a variety of instruments, including keyboard, accordion, guitar, banjo and ukelele, and the duo/trio/four-piece adds a second guitar, bass and drums.
I'm regularly booked to perform for weddings and events at March Con Club in Cambridgeshire.
Cockney Barrer’s act usually consists of two sets, the first set being old-time cockney standards, sing-a-longs, knees-ups and Chas ‘n’ Dave songs, and the second set being a mixture of 50s and 60s songs for dancing.
Cockney Barrer can also be booked as a strolling musician for events such as town shows, fetes and dinner parties etc.
Although based in Essex, Cockney Barrer performs all over the South East of England and elsewhere, with regular performances in Essex, London, Kent, Hertfordshire, Cambridge and Cambridgeshire, Surrey, Suffolk, Norfolk, Sussex, Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Northamptonshire and Hampshire.
