"Tom and the band did a great job at my ceilidh. The music and energy were perfect and Tom did a good job introducing and calling each dance. About 2/3rds of guests had been to a ceilidh before and around 1/3rd were complete beginners, but everybody was able to join in and have a fun time. Tom was receptive to my different requests and we figured out the perfect plan for the night. The band arrived at the venue with plenty of time to set up and do sound checks, so everything kicked off according to schedule. Thanks again for a great night!"
"Thank you Ramnee Ceilidh Band for your wonderful music and also for your patient help with our dancing! This was definitely one of the best parts of our wedding day: it brought everyone together and we will always remember it with a smile."
"We could not be happier with Ramnee. Tom was super clear in his calling and lovely and patient with a lot of first-time ceilidh dancers at our wedding. He was also so friendly, relaxed and accommodating to slightly revised schedules on the day. Our guests loved the ceilidh and the band sounded great. Couldn't recommend you more!"
"Many many thanks Tom! You provided the best dance we have had for many years. I have never seen so many people consistently up dancing and enjoying themselves. Your balance of music was just what we required and while we Scots like to think we know all the country dancing malarky it was great to be taught a few more. You have great style in the way you delivered that. John Barrowman was an interesting addition. I hope you guys didn't mind but you all seemed to take it in good spirit. I'm told he was eating next door and couldn't resist coming through because the music was so good."
"Ramnee Ceilidh Band were, without doubt, the highlight of our evening. The musical fusion of traditional with modern music was a fantastic take on the ceilidh and provided a great source of entertainment. The dance floor was never empty and we would thoroughly recommend the band to anyone looking for a quality, highly trained, entertaining live band to add a touch of class to any event!"
"Tom and the band were absolutely INCREDIBLE. Our wedding was topped off with the most amazing music and the ceilidh was such great fun! I’ve been to many ceilidhs where sometimes people struggle to pick up the moves but Tom instructed perfectly. Tom has been reliable and professional throughout. Exactly what you need when organising a wedding! Thank you so much. I would recommend Ramnee Ceilidh Band to everyone!"
"Ramnee Ceilidh & Covers Band recently played at my 50th birthday party and I can’t recommend them highly enough. From the initial booking Tom was so professional and always so patient and helpful with my endless questions. Any correspondence was answered very quickly. On the day of the party Tom arrived at the venue with lots of time to spare. I had chosen a four piece, guitar, fiddle, drums and accordion, the entire band were simply excellent and they looked so good with their traditional kilts. As the caller, Tom explained all the dancing techniques in a way that was easy to follow which was excellent as there were a lot of people who weren’t familiar with the dances. I would definitely book the Ramnee Ceilidh & Covers Band again and would recommend them to anyone looking for a highly skilled, professional band for their Ceilidh."
"My son and new daughter-in-law hired the Ramnee Ceilidh Band for their recent wedding. I can honestly say what a fantastic band they are. They played a variety of songs which suited all ages of the guests. They also played numerous Ceilidh tunes in between - it didn't matter if people didn't know the steps, because we were talked through them first. It was so much fun, and the guests loved it! I highly recommend the Ramnee Ceilidh Band to anyone, and would have no hesitation in hiring them."
"Hi Tom, Just wanted to send you a quick message to say thank you for playing at our wedding. The cover songs were just what we wanted and the ceilidh songs got everyone dancing all night! Everyone said that the mix of the two was fantastic! Thank you again, Helen."
"The night was brilliant! The music was very impressive and I was especially taken with the dance tuition on the dance floor... Bravo!..."
