Covering Toots & the Maytals and Desmond Dekker, through to The Specials, Madness and The Selecter, The Birmingham Ska Band come complete with horn section and male and female vocalists and are guaranteed to get the party started!

The Birmingham Ska Band have also enjoyed headlining numerous festivals and corporate events across the UK and are highly experienced in playing weddings, functions and promoting their own shows.

Andy Hess, a long time aficionado of Ska, founded the Band in 2005. He was joined by Ted Davies (Vox and Guitar), Lorraine Stewart (Vox), Scotland B (Bass) and Roger Westwood (Kit).
Brian Wright, known as BeeDubya and later just Dubbs, joined Ted and Loz on Vocals. In 2009, they found a couple of itinerant brass players at a beer festival and welcomed Alun David (Trombone) and David Hipkiss (Trumpet).
In the summer of 2014 Lorraine left the band and was replaced by Sharodene Mellis on vocals along with the addition of Mark Overton on Saxophone.
Various eminent local characters can be seen from time to time guesting at The Birmingham Ska Band's notorious live shows.
