Getting a good band was important to us so we put a lot of time and energy into researching available groups. We were recommended Aurora Showband by our planner and when we saw their website and promotional videos we knew we had found the band for us. We really wanted to avoid a cheesy wedding band (which seems to be 95% of what's available!). Our main objective was to get a high energy band that had their own take on contemporary tracks that could fill a dance floor. With Aurora Showband we got all that and more! Since our wedding I have had so many compliments about the band that I have lost count. We couldn't recommend them more highly! Aurora Showband had every guest up on their feet and on the dance floor from the first note through to the last encore. Fusing soul, pop & funk in their own unique style – the set list was amazing and they had the audience in the palm of their hands. It is clear from the website that Aurora Showband also do a lot of larger gigs but the thing that really stood out to me was the way they made the performance at my wedding feel so interactive and personal - their energy and charisma was infectious.
