More information about The Carnabys

A covers band from County Durham, The Carnabys provide top tunes at weddings, functions and private soirées throughout the North East.

Don’t be fooled by their boyish good looks – the band is made up of three seasoned professional musicians who have played the length and breadth of the country.

With a sound bigger than their numbers would suggest, The Carnabys are going down a storm on the local wedding circuit.

Their stellar set of songs goes back as far as The Beatles, Elvis and The Kinks, stops off at the likes of Oasis, The Smiths, Blur and Pulp and continues through to today’s biggest bands — Kings of Leon, Arctic Monkeys and The Killers.

In other words, there’s something for everyone which results in a dance floor filled with young and old alike.

Admittedly musical talent alone doesn’t create a great wedding band. A professional attitude, reliability, smart appearance and a commitment to great customer service is also essential. Qualities that can all be found in The Carnabys.

If you like what you’ve seen, read and heard and think The Carnabys are the right band for your occasion then make an enquiry to get the ball rolling.

So if you're looking to hire the finest wedding band Durham has to offer, get in touch with The Carnabys.

“Had the pleasure of this amazing band playing at our wedding last night!!! You guys totally made the night. The atmosphere was amazing and the dance floor was never empty. You definitely made it a night to remember. I would highly recommend this band if you are considering booking for future events. The lads were professional, polite and were helpful from the time of booking until they left the hotel after finishing. Can not speak highly enough of them!!! Thanks for the memories, you rocked!”

“We’d like to say a huge thank you to the Carnabys for playing at our wedding at Vallum Farm. The band were a huge hit and there were people on the dance floor from the first song right through to the end of the night. They played a great mix of songs to appeal to all our guests and everyone said how great they were. Thanks so much for helping make our wedding such an enjoyable and brilliant event. From Mr & Mrs Cross!”

“Hi Guys. We just want to say that you guys are phenomenal. From our first point of contact to the very last minute of our joint birthday and anniversary party, you provided a highly professional and polished service. We would recommend you without hesitation to provide top class entertainment. We would tell anyone looking for a band, whatever the occasion, to BOOK THE CARNABYS! You provided us with a service bespoke to our needs, whilst giving us the support and advice that we needed during the planning process. This all ensured that the bash went with a bang! We’ve lost count of the number of people who praised the band and enthused about what a fabulous time they had at our party. Thank you Peter, Phil and Anth for your part in a fantastic evening which we will never forget.”

“Hello to our new favourite band; The Carnabys. I’m so sorry for the late message to you guys. Me and Aidan want to say a HUGE thank you for playing at our wedding at Beamish Hall. We are so pleased we booked you guys and you were one of the best things we spent our money on the day. Everyone commented on how fabulous you were and how it wasn’t like an average wedding where people are afraid to get up and dance. You had all our guests on their feet dancing the night away and everyone loved the songs you performed. We wouldn’t hesitate for one minute recommending you to family and friends in the future. We knew we made the right decision booking you guys when we came to see you guys perform at one of your venues. Love Mr and Mrs Hayes.”
