South West France is one of the most popular locations for destination weddings, and for good reason. The long expanses of sandy beaches, beautiful countryside populated by historic chateaux and famous vineyards, and the favourable climate are just some of the factors that make the South of France such a hotspot for tying the knot.

When it comes to hiring a live wedding band in South West France, it can be difficult to find exactly what you want for your special day.

In general, couples who head to southern France for a destination wedding want a band that plays covers of British and American pop, rock and indie music (as well as some funk and soul thrown in for good measure). As such, British wedding bands are increasingly in demand to make the journey to entertain at destination weddings in South West France.

Several of FixTheMusic’s UK-based wedding bands are proving popular for destination weddings in the region. Of course, travel expenses mean that it can cost roughly double the price of hiring these bands to perform in the UK.

On FixTheMusic, bands always provide quotes directly to you with a clear breakdown of costs so you can make an informed decision – no other costs are added, and once you’re happy to book, you can pay securely online via card.

The bands are available in all parts of south western France, including in Bordeaux, Dordogne, Toulouse, Birac, Bergerac, Carcassonne, Pau, Bayonee, Angoulême, Charente, Auch, Condom, Cahors, Périgueux, Brantôme, Cognac, Narbonne, Perpignan and Montpellier.

Average prices for bands in the region start at around 1,500 - 2,000 EUR, but the exact cost will depend on several factors, including distance they need to travel to your wedding venue, number of musicians in the band and how long you want them to perform.

Most wedding bands in this corner of France can also provide music for earlier in your wedding day – for example, during your wedding ceremony or afternoon drinks reception. Gypsy or manouche jazz (including an accordion, guitar player and possibly a singer) is especially popular at outdoor celebrations (just don't forget to have some cover ready in case it starts to rain!).

The genres of music covered by our bands in this region of France include rock, indie and pop, as well as soul, Motown and funk. We also work with gospel choirs, string quartets and DJs in south west France.

FixTheMusic is free for event planners to use – the price you agree with musicians is the price you pay. There are no costs added on top and 0% booking fees.
